Postnatal Mum & Baby Yoga
Becoming a mum is a huge change, physically, mentally and emotionally. What better way to reconnect with yourself, bond with your baby and make new friends; classes are tailored to everyone present and are especially designed to allow you to safely exercise. Regain strength, find your pelvic floor and deep core and lift your spirits, all with your baby by your side!
Please note:
Suitable from 6 weeks after a vaginal birth, or 8 weeks after a c-section, right up until your baby is on the move.
As with any exercise after birth, it is always a good idea to get the all clear from your doctor before you start classes - ask them to check whether you have Diastasis Recti (separated tummy muscles) as that is helpful to know, so exercises can be safely tailored.
As classes progress, you will build core strength and revitalise yourself, feel energised and back to your self once more.
Yoga and exercise is one of the best ways to tend to our mental and emotional health.
If you had a baby a year ago or more and never incorporated a dedicated postnatal class to help your recovery after birth, you may not have fully strengthened your pelvic floor or deepest core. If you suffer with lower back ache, particular after any other exercise or running or if you have a little wee when you laugh, cough or sneeze, then come along to this class - you will feel the benefit in no time. Feel free to come hands free, you donβt have to bring your little one along! Or join one of our Womenβs Yoga sessions instead.
Beyond Postnatal - Womenβs Yoga
Beyond postnatal; once your little ones are big enough that you can get out again for a couple of hours, schedule in some much needed YOU time and come along to rest, recharge and feel nourished once more, come along to class.
Also for women on their fertility journey, looking for a safe space to find some inner calm and increase their well-being; helping set up optimal health and conditions for conception.
Also suitable for women at any stage in life looking for a women-centric safe place to practice. Mindful of womenβs ever changing bodies, this class is for you too!
Classes are always tailored to those in attendance and usually balance active with nourishing practices throughout. Mindful of pelvic floor issues and core stability, as well as providing opportunities for deep rest. These classes are not to be missed!
